Individualized supplementation

Today’s lifestyle brings with it an enormous amount of stress and, potentially, poor lifestyle habits. Added to these challenges and the mass production of most food sources, we are left with sub-standard nutritional value in some of our food.

Supplementation has a few main pillars:

  • Supplementing with something we know we need more of and are not getting from our food (eg. Vegetarians not ingesting food high in Vitamins B’s)
  • Supplementing with something we use more of than normal (serious exercise regimes, stress, smokers etc)
  • Supplementing for known deficiencies. A blood test has shown a definite low level of something (iron, Vit B12, Magnesium, Vit D etc)
  • Supplementing with something that’s been proven to have health benefits when ingested daily (Omega 3 fatty acids, Vit C, Curcumin, Anti-oxidants)

We are an evidence based clinic. We don’t just suggest a supplement randomly. We use specific approaches, techniques and tests to determine if you are in need of a specific supplement or not. We don’t script blindly.

We stock only world class, medical grade supplement ranges like Metagenics, Solgar, Good Health, Coyne Healthcare, Vitamin Research Products, Medford and Future Health. If a specific supplement isn’t available locally or if the local options are not up to the standard it should be, we source that product from overseas suppliers.
